The Four
Corners Recycling Initiative

Brings recycling opportunities for cardboard, mixed paper, and mixed metals to Montezuma County. The Initiative, which started in July 2008, is a collective effort sponsored by federal, local and private entities in rural Southwest Colorado. Our goal is to bring recycling options – particularly cardboard, mixed paper and mixed metals – to federal and local government institutions, schools, private businesses, and the public.

The Four Corners Recycling Initiative is pleased to announce a new public recycling drop-off location! You can now recycle mixed metal, mixed paper, and corrugated cardboard at North 14th St. in Dolores, next to Dolores High School.

All other public drop-off sites -- the Dolores Public Lands Center, the Mancos School Complex, and the Montezuma County Landfill -- remain open as well. The Four Corners Recycling Initiative wants to thank the Dolores School District and the Town of Dolores, as well as area residents, for supporting recycling and making this new public recycling bin possible.
