           We are proud to announce that we have several new partners with the Four Corners Recycling Initiative!  These entities have obtained roll-off containers for the recycling of commodities at their location.  These businesses include Skanska Corporation, The Ute Mountain Tribe Casino and Southwest Memorial Hospital!  We are excited that these private entities have taken the step towards making their business and the four corners region a more sustainable community!
            The existing public drop-off locations – Mancos schools, Dolores Schools, Dolores Public Lands Office and the Montezuma County Landfill – are continuing to fill up on a regular basis.  Thank you all for your dedication and support for this effort.  We are aware that some of the bins fill up faster than others, and we are working on making these growing pains a little less painful for all of you dedicated recyclers out there.
           We are currently waiting to hear from the state if we have been awarded a second year of grant funding.  This funding will allow us to take steps to make this program more concrete with multiple expansion possibilities.   Keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned for upcoming details.
